STROLL THROUGH TEXAS HISTORY

PLAY MUSIC

This is where Texas History comes alive! Celebrate the signing of the treaty that gave birth to the Republic of Texas in 1836.  Journey back to 1800's Texas as we meet heroes like Travis, Crockett, Houston, Bowie, Seguin & more. Visit the beautiful Elizabeth Crockett Memorial, Enjoy Black Powder Cannon Demonstrations, Reenactments, Native American customs and interactive presentations with Texas Rangers and Cavalry Soldiers.

Plus, eat great food, listen to period music, and smell the sweet aroma of wood campfires.

When: 3rd Friday and Saturday in May 2025 - May 16th & 17th

Where: In front of the Acton Cemetery, 3629 Fall Creek Highway Friday 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

Presenters, Reenactments, Demonstrations, and Music Schools are invited!  

Space is limited, please email or call 940-465-0431 to reserve a spot with your schools name and amount of students expected.  We will be in contact with a confirmation and schedule of rotations for your students to follow.  You are welcome to bring your own sack lunches.  This History Stroll meets Texas Social Studies TEKS for grades 4 & 7. Saturday 10:00 am – 4:00 pm – Presenters, Reenactments, Demonstrations, Music and Food.
