FLAG DISPLAY

Each year, the Texas Heroes Foundation places nearly two hundred Lone Star flags of Texas on April 21 to commemorate the Battle of San Jacinto in 1836, which solidified Texas' freedom from Mexico.  Gracing the boundary of the Acton Cemetery on Fall Creek Highway, the brilliant Texas flags are stunning, breathtaking, and inspirational.  They remain in place for three weeks until the conclusion of the Texas History Stroll in mid-May.
